What You'll Do
- Review and process account releases to ensure timely updates
- Maintain and update client portfolio information across systems
- Follow up with clients on payments, resolving any payment discrepancies
- Reconcile overpayments and short payments within your portfolio
- Conduct periodic credit reviews for portfolio clients and manage credit limits
- Ensure collection timelines are met, with consistent client communications
- Track accounts in collections and manage past-due balances
- Perform specialized account analysis and compile reports for management
- Assist with GST & Importer Direct client management as needed
- Troubleshoot client issues and escalate when necessary
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace, adhering to all policies and procedures
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or GED equivalent; relevant experience will be considered
- Bilingual is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills and a customer service mindset
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in managing deadlines and working under pressure
- Experience with accounts receivable processes and client management
